Lindsay Corporation operates across 17 regions with a hybrid landscape of cloud and on-premises ERP systems. Fragmented replication patterns made it difficult to deliver unified data for manufacturing, logistics, operations and sales.

Program Objectives

  • Migrate nine on-premises source systems from Fivetran to the C2S FDR platform.
  • Land data in Azure Data Lake Storage using analytics-ready structures.
  • Validate end-to-end data integrity.
  • Provide logging, monitoring and alerting for operational visibility.

C2S Solution

C2S implemented a governed Azure data replication platform using FDR, CDC and standardized storage patterns.

Phase 1: Discovery and Mapping

  • Identified nine sources and corresponding Fivetran connectors.
  • Captured entity metadata, volumes, frequencies and business rules.

Phase 2: Azure Foundation

  • Provisioned virtual machines, Event Hubs, Function Apps, ADLS Gen2, Key Vault and monitoring services.
  • Configured secure network connectivity.

Phase 3: Pipeline Migration

  • Built FDR pipelines from on-premises systems to ADLS.
  • Implemented CDC and standardized folders, partitions and naming.

Phase 4: Transition

  • Validated source-to-target records and completed UAT.
  • Decommissioned equivalent connectors and transferred operational ownership.
